1 day Passport Apps

Gusto mo ba kumuha ng Passport na hindi na kailangan ng appointment? Pwes napunta ka sa tamang site para makakuha ng advice.
Share ko lang ang experience ko sa pagkuha ng Electronic Passport.
I'm from Cabuyao, Laguna, i planned to have a passport para if ever na may opportunity abroad, hindi na ako maha-hassle to get one. Anyway, so i decided to ask some of my friends about the entire procedure, they say if you want to apply one in DFA Manila, you have to get first an appointment via online then they will give you a schedule of when, your appointment on them will be. They say it usually takes month, and i don't like that, so i look for some options then consider one of my friends advice---- Go to Lucena, Passport application there is a One day process only.

So from my place in Cabuyao, a nearby town of Sta.Rosa (for those who doesn't know it, it's a good place)
I started my journey/adventure for passport application.
I forgot how much the fare is, but here is the sketch that somehow will help if your taking the same route as mine.
Cabuyao to Crossing Terminal Calamba to San Pablo to Grand Terminal Lucena to Pacific Mall
( Where DFA Lucena is Located, 3rd floor )

Make sure to be there early, as in early, the first time i went there, i arrived 8 am, and one of the officer said that i was too late and their 200 quotas of passport applicants was already filled as early as 5:00 AM. When i went there the second time, i made sure that i'll be the first in line so i leave our house 8 in the evening to avail the last trips of the jeepneys and buses all the way to Pacific Mall, where DFA Lucena is located. I arrived there 12 midnight and saw few applicants sitting on the side of the mall, i was 8th on the line, and since it was too early, i decided to take a nap.

Then on 7:00 am, One of the DFA Officer finally face us to give the application form, the whole process was smooth, specially if your an early bird. On my way to the entrance of the DFA office, one officer caught my attention and earned my respect, because not like the other Government official, He seems to be strict but nice, and most of all embodies the Program of the Civil Service Commision " Mamamayan muna, Hindi mamaya na " he's really nice and approchable, so Sir, if your reading this, i salute you, He is the Regional Director of DFA in Lucena, Mr. Edmundo Mangubat.

In 10 minutes after i enter the DFA office, i was already called and entertain, i pass my requirements, the NSO Birth Certificate and some of my ID's.

Here are the Examples of Identification:
  • Old Company ID's
  • Old School ID's
  • Yearbook/Annual
  • Driver's License
  • PRC license ID
  • Credit Card with Picture
  • Seaman's Book
  • Digitized SSS ID
  • Private Security License ID
  • GSIS ID E-Card
  • Voter's ID
That's It. I hope it helps:)
Goodluck! :)
